How listings are checked
Our team adds businesses after speaking to the owner, or an owner applies and we check the request before it goes live. Each listing shows when its details were last checked. Businesses marked Verified have been confirmed by our team.
How ratings work
Anyone who signs in can write a review, one per business. Sign-in does not fully prove who someone is, so we also watch for fake ratings. Owners cannot rate their own business or delete a review. They can report one, and Plus and Featured owners can reply. We remove reviews that are fake or abusive, not reviews that are simply low.
Why listings cost money
Businesses pay a yearly fee to be listed. A Featured plan can place a business first, and it is labelled Featured. It does not change its ratings.
